Beetlejuice’s nuptials at the House of Yes
A special beetlejuice nuptials event is set for the House of Yes in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The event will honor the 1988 cult classic with dead-on recreations of its props. Guests will watch a screening of the movie, and there will also be live performances by the actor who played Beetlejuice wedding. A portion of the tickets for the event will be donated to the Geena Davis Institute for Gender in Media.
The all-volunteer production crew, called BBQ Films, organized the event. They were joined by over 60 supporters and worked for six weeks to plan the event. While it was a long process, the actors said it was worth the work. Beetlejuice fans will surely remember this event for years to come.
